Today’s thing to make is camping related . When we go away we always over pack “just in case clothes” Normally resulting in too many big coats and jumpers pushed down the back of the drivers seat. I am also rather short which means i have to have a cushion behind my back to reach the foot controls. So i have invented….
“The spare jumper storage device”
1. Using some fabric that is roughly 3x the length of the shape you want it to be. If you use too much you won’t be able to stuff it and if you use too little the stuffing will fall out the back.
2. Next you need to hem or overlock the ends i’m using 2 layers so you can see the difference and to line it.
3.Next you need to fold the fabric into 3 with the side you want facing outside inside ( tricky bit) get an adult to help
4. Now sew along the open sides ( for sanity reasons you can pin before you sew)
5. Turn it inside out and stuff with the extra spare jumper.
6 Finish.
